The Valencia U16B team finished in second place in Glendale on May 31 / June 1 with a 2-1-1 record.

Valencia's U10 girls coached by Kenny Sarmiento won the Strawberry Cup held on May 17 & 18 in Camarillo.  They beat Santa Barbara in the championship match 5 to 4.  Way to go ladies!

The Valencia U16 boys tournament team took first place honors in Oxnard on May 3rd and 4th.  Overall the team was 3-0-1 in the tournament .  They out scored their opponents 11  to 3 and shut out two teams.

Way to go guys - you rock!

The Valencia U10 girl's team took first place in the Santa Clarita Showdown tournament on April 26/27.  The team won all three pool matches and won the championship match late Sunday afternoon.  Despite the high temperatures and stiff competition, the Mighty Tigers only gave up 1 goal while scoring 17 goals.  ... more

The U12 girls team "Valencia United" team coach by Alfred Lopez and Edgar Penaranda placed 4th in the Showdown Tournament on April 26/27.  The girls battled injury and a very competitive group of teams to place in the medal round.  Great job girls!

The U12 boys coached by Bob Besa and Fausta Arana finshed second in the Showdown tournament.  They won all three of their pool games, but came up one goal short in the finals losing to Lancaster 2 - 1.

The Valencia U12 boys team coached by Cruz Montes earned 3rd place in the Cottontail Classic on April 12/13.  The team ended up 3-1 overall and won the 3rd place match in a shoot-out.  Of note, one of Valencia's victories was a 3-1 victory over the team that ultimately won the ... more
